Quality Isolation Gowns that Provide AAMI Protection
- Made from 3-layer SMS fabric to give clinicians confidence and comfort
- Outer layers are cloth-like, yet tough and abrasion-resistant
- Middle layer contains an intricate web of microfibers that filter out many water-based liquids
- Conform to AAMI* guidelines, meeting performance standards for strength, barrier protection and fluid resistance
- Provide protection from liquid strikethrough and from penetration by live bacteria and spores, such as MRSA and C. difficile
- Gowns should be chosen based on the tasks performed and the type of risk likely to be encountered
