How the Supplemental Emergency
Eye Wash Station Works:
- Turn on cool or warm water. Note: do not use hot water, as it may scald
- Pull knob to activate eye wash. Water pressure holds eye wash in operation, keeping hands free.
- Push knob or turn off faucet to return to normal faucet operation.
Note: Because the Supplemental Emergency Eye Wash Station requires two motions to activate water flow (turn on water, pull knob to activate unit), it does not meet the provisions of ANSI Z358.1-2004 as an eye wash unit. This product is intended to augment dedicated, plumbed equipment. |
